Why is having a page per participant better?

You'll raise a lot more money by giving each participant their own pledge page vs. one page for your organization.Β

Here is why:

  • Donors want social credit for their donation. They want to know the participant will see their donation and this visibility will also lead to a larger donation. Grandparents are MUCH more likely to contribute to granddaughter, Sally, vs. a general page.

  • Donors will see what other family members donated during the donation process which leads to larger donations. For example, when Uncle Tim donates, he will see what Uncle Dan has donated. Uncle Tim will typically match or exceed what Uncle Dan donated.

  • Participants take more ownership of their fundraising goal when they have their own pledge page.Β

  • We send email reminders to your participants the last week of the campaign.
